Introduction of the hospital

Alavi Hospital was established in 1974 with a total area of 10,000 square meters. This center is the most important hospital in Ardabil Province. This hospital is an educational and treatment center and acts under the direction and supervision of ARUMS (Ardabil University of Medical Sciences).

It has a total approved capacity of 213 beds 280 of which are active and offer services to patients. The center is directed by Dr. Qasem Fattahzadeh (specialist in Neurology and Epilepsy fellowship, faculty member in ARUMS).

The inpatient units of this center include: Female neurology, Male neurology, Gynecological surgery, Neonates, Emergency room, Midwifery emergency, Oncology, general medical services, General ICU, hematology.

The outpatient units of the center include: physiotherapy, EEG, EMG, TCD,

Specialty and super specialty clinics of the center include the following: Cardiology, Sonography, hematology, echocardiography, and oncology.

The paraclinical units of the hospital include: Medical laboratory (general and pathology), Radiology, spiral CT scan, pharmacy, and MRI.

The research center is active in the hospital.

Future plan: Completing the construction of the Emergency room.

 

Mission:                             

Alavi Educational and Treatment Center is the biggest super specialty center for Gynecological surgery.

This center operates in accordance with the rules and regulations Of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. It seeks to provide appropriate services in the areas of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases, preparation of knowledgeable workforces in health-related areas, and the development of medical research through using modern facilities, equipment, technologies, and techniques in accordance with moral and Islamic values so as to improve the general health status of the community and produce more competent, committed, and capable human resources.
